Event Speaker: Cecelia Bernhardt

Cecelia was born into a large family of eleven children and two parents so she was well grounded in community from her earliest memories!  Her parents were believers and her mom especially had a deep faith that upheld her through the challenges of caring for such a large family.  Cecelia had a simple belief in Jesus as a child and grew up in the midst of an active church community.  She questioned her faith somewhat during her college years at a large state university and graduated with questions about faith and truth and purpose.  The Spirit led her through a “faith reawakening” in her early twenties and she perceived a call to ministry to care for people by helping them to consider what it means to live by faith in our complex and…
